ABOUT
Reimagine a conventional VR/AR cardboard headset to include new features designed for the consumption of media and goods; such as foods and liquids, during the COVID pandemic where movie theaters are potential safety hazards.
PROCESS
RESEARCH:
Review of existing cardboard VR/AR accessible models and potential entry point for COVID related concerns. What will the future look like for VR/AR products and how can they be used?
INITIAL PROTOTYPING:
Initial prototyping began with card stock mockups with iterations exploring different alternatives to the existing Google cardboard. Prototypes explored alternative materials, modularity, and food consumption in context of the VR goggles.
